Background

When we get into new semester, we will pick new classes and will get new schedule, and sometimes it is confusing to arrange the best schedule for us. We need to do it manually and usually takes a lot of time and not impossible to made mistakes. College scheduler can help you for that.

Description

College scheduler is a intelligent application that can help student to arrange their schedule with their classes. It will generate automatically all possible schedule you can get, and the good news is, you can add your preferences such as preferred time (day or night, what day, what time), preferred lecture, course-mate and lecturer, etc as consideration for arranging your schedule.

Features

This software has special features instead of the standard function of other online academic system-like softwares. The features are:

1. Can be integrated with regular online academic system such as FRS-Online in ITS or can be another web-based academic information system.
2. Automatic scheduling to give the student information about set of courses that he can choose.
3. The student can add his preferences to get the course of the most suitable and comfortable for him.
4. Expandable features (on desktop version), include download marks of the student.
5. Report generator to make printable version document. (Only on desktop version)

For Windows and Linux

When we install this software, it’s just like another software we installed before in our PC. After installation process finish, we are ready to set up our profile. This kind has more features than any other version because PC has lots of sources like faster processor, bigger memory, abundant storage, wider display and so on.

For Mobile Phone

In this version, size of the software is decreasing into a very tiny size compare to PC’s version but still not losing its main function i.e. scheduling. Users still get some main function such as automatic scheduling based on our preferences and other features. But the capacity to handle a lot of classes is not available.

Web-based

This version doesn’t require us to install. We just visit the website, create an account, fill the profile form, then we can start to use the software. All you need is a computer with internet connection, compatible browser, and list of your available classes. Then you will see how this software can arrange classes for you.

Procedure to use this software is all similar with all versions. First we just need to install the package (if in PC version or Mobile Phone version) or visit the website. Then we have to fill up the profile form. After that, we can start input available class and their schedule (time, day, lecture, classroom number, etc). After all requirements is fulfilled, then we can let the smart system to arrange possibility schedule for that classes. It will give us all possible option class based on our preferences, ex maximum credit, preferred time (day, night), preferred lecture, preferred lecturer, etc. After that, we can let the system run for us.
